Specifically quarters. I don't know why, maybe it was just finally time, but my guy seriously DID NOT care. Finally, one day, my husband said, "how about a quarter if you stay dry and pee/poop in the potty?" And it worked! Who knew? It's worth a shot. (Cheerios, M&M's, etc... did NOTHING for us!) And I personally think that pull-ups are just expensive diapers - - they feel the same as a diaper, only the child can pull them off and smear poop all down their leg when they're doing it. LOVELY!
