I have been going through stuff in my office sorting, pitching, and organizing getting ready for the big move downstairs (that's a whole other subject… I am dreading having my office downstairs… right now it's right in the middle of the action but we need this bedroom for baby No Name). In the bottom of a box from our last move, I ran across a deal that used to be taped to my computer monitor. Print outs I made of my two very favorite quotes…
"People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be."
-Abraham Lincoln
"Few things are more infectious then a godly lifestyle. The people you rub shoulders with every day need that kind of challenge. Not prudish. Not preachy. Just crackerjack clean living. Just honest-to-goodness, bone-deep, nonhypocritical integrity. Authentic obedience to God."
- Charles R. Swindoll
When we get my office moved I'm going to frame those two quotes. Large. Large enough that I am forced to read them multiple times a day. If those aren't words to live by, what are?
