Last week I received an email from Rikki who was curious to see if I could squeeze in a last minute family session while I was in Marshall, Missouri for the college rodeo. I found sometime and we made some quick arrangements to meet at her parent’s house just outside of town. You can only imagine my delight when I drove in to find a yard looking like it came out of Home and Garden Magazine, three grown children and significant others that looked like they stepped out of a Levi’s ad, the happiest most content 7 month old on the planet, and parents that were willing to do this…
I felt a little off kilter going in to the shoot without time to memorize names, and scope out the location first, but I tell ya, it couldn’t have been any easier once I arrived. I just started through their images, but so far, this is my favorite (click on it to see it larger)…
It’s so nice and refreshing to have clients that are up for anything. I know they had to think I was crazy when I said "Okay, I know you have a perfectly manicured lawn and gorgeous flowers everywhere, but can you all come and stand in front of this big garage door like a police lineup?" With a way fun (way good looking) family like this, I’m sure there will be a few more images popping up on the blog as I work my way through them. Thanks Rikki and clan for a super relaxed Saturday morning.
